GENERAL GOLF OVERVIEWS

Basic Golf Overview ($400)

Includes a general description of the course, including its age, designer, historical significance, general terrain and famous/great holes. Also included are brief overviews of any major professional tournaments held, as well as great players/celebrities/professionals relevant to club history, and any additional material the club considers pertinent.

Basic Overviews generally run from 600-1000 words, and are ideal for smaller websites not featuring elaborate course mapping and/or hole-by-hole tours.

 

Expanded Golf Overview ($750)

Offers more detailed versions of all material covered in the Basic Overview, plus several additional features.

Includes a more thorough description of the course, beginning with some details as to its genesis and design, and, where available, comments from the original architect, published reviews, famous players, etc. Some biographical information and historical context will be provided for course designers of significance, and more background/history will be included on both the layout’s feature holes and its design evolution. More detailed descriptions of major professional tournaments held will also be included, as well as any additional material the club wishes to emphasize.

As a bonus, MT III Golf Media offers free caption writing for any photographs that will accompany Expanded Overview text.

Expanded Overviews generally run from 1000-1400 words, and provide the perfect background for websites offering hole-by-hole tours and/or detailed course mapping.

 

Deluxe Golf Overview ($1000 and up)

The Deluxe Overview is tailored towards elite, high-profile facilities with widely acclaimed courses and/or extensive tournament and Major championship histories. Written as a much grander,  more detailed version of the Basic and Expanded Overviews or in a highly literate essay-like style, they will provide detailed history on the course's planning, site and construction, as well as significant background on the the architect and his career. The course’s design and eventual evolution will be chronicled, as will the architectural, tournament and/or historical significance of its feature holes. Detailed information will be provided on all Major championships and major professional tournaments held, including brief descriptions of the largest and, where applicable, ledgers indicating results of annual events (including the winner, their score, the margin of victory and the runner(s)-up). Detailed material will be included (or offered as sidebars) on the great players, famous holes or shots, etc, and any additional material the club considers pertinent. In short, a Deluxe Overview will represent a comprehensive history of the course, its design and evolution, and competitive highlights, stylishly providing website visitors all the information the club deems necessary in an exceptionally polished package.

Deluxe Overviews generally run from 1400-2000 words, and are ideal for detailed websites wishing to accompany high quality course mapping and/or hole-by-hole tours with top-shelf background material. Deluxe overviews are competitively priced, starting at $1200 and ranging upward based on length.
